The awarding of Register of Merit (ROM) status by the Collie Club of America
is to honor the lifetime producing achievements of the
Sires and Dams that have achieved an exceptional record
in producing Champion offspring.
Awarding a ROM to deserving producers gives the club a permanent record for collie history
and serves as a learning tool for pedigree study and research.
